Fourth of July

 Our 4th was filled with fun.  We went to the carnival on post, followed by a pot luck back at our house.  Fifteen people came to celebrate with us.  After dinner we went to the AMAZING fireworks.  Aralynn and her new friend, Max, hung out on the blanket all night long.  We ended the night by coming back home and having a fire with a few people.

Aralynn and Daddy have been in a few arguments since the fourth.  Aralynn says that Max is her new boyfriend and Daddy tells her she can't have a boyfriend until she is at least twenty.  Aralynn then blows a fit and Daddy thinks it's funny that she gets so upset about not being able to have a boyfriend.  Mommy usually has to break up the argument by telling Aralynn that Daddy is just kidding.

 Since there was a free concert, we sat right behind the stage in a open parking lot where the kids had room to dance while we listened to the music as the sky filled up with fireworks.

Mommy made this American Flag cake for the pot luck.  A mess to make, but delicious to eat!
