Division Run

It's the Week of the Eagle and the kids and I woke up at 5am to watch the Division Run.  I thought it was going to be difficult to get them up, but it wasn't at all.  Aralynn woke up when Justin left the house, and Carter woke up shortly after and quickly got ready for school since the run was going to be done right when school started. 

 This is Bastonge.  He is 1st BCT's bulldog.  He is an E-5 and actually gets paid!  Not too long ago he was an E-6, but he peed in a Sgt. Major's office and lost a rank.  He sometimes does PT with the soldiers and barks at them when they are being yelled at by higher up.
Aralynn had to take a moment to pet Bastonge.  He is very popular on post.

 Thousands of soldiers at Fort Campbell did the Division Run.  The Army band played as the soldiers passed by. 

Aralynn met her new friend, Sammy.  On the way home she begged me to call Sammy to see if he could come over and play.
