Tiger Paw Award Goes To....

 Carter's school contacted us yesterday saying Carter was going to receive an award and to be at the school in the morning.  Carter had no idea he was going to get it, so I decided to not tell him his school called and make it a big surprise.  Out of the whole second grade only eight students received this award.

For showing Responsibility, arriving on time prepared and ready to work, all

assignments completed as specified by the classroom teacher, and for displaying

consideration for the rights and property of others.

For showing Good Citizenship, by respecting the rights and opinions of others by

refraining from rudeness, inappropriate language, and any form of disruptive classroom

behavior.  Adhering to and following all school rules and guidelines.  And for showing

positive conduct as a good citizen of Marshall Elementary School.

After the kids took a picture with their school mascot, Aralynn ran up to him and gave him a big hug.  She said she was very happy to touch the soft tiger.
